Objective: Identify the rules that Marcel is supposed to follow.
TEKS: Physical Education – Kindergarten through Grade 5 – Knowledge and Skills – Social Development – the student understands basic components such as strategies and rules of structured physical activities.
Modifications: Depending on the abilities of students simplify or make the rules more complex.
Materials: book This Moose Belongs to Me, rules for a physical game like Simon Says
Introduction: read This Moose Belongs to Me to students
Body: While reading book discuss the rules that Wilfred has for Marcel. Does Marcel follow all the rules? Why do you think this happens?
Conclusion: Describe all the rules for game you have chosen and then play the game.
Assessment: Were students able to follow rules of the game?
